Yearly membership dues are $38.64.
Who is eligible
Any veteran who served honorably in a foreign war, campaign, or expedition on foreign soil or in hostile waters is eligible: World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, Persian Gulf War, Kosovo, War in Afghanistan, War in Iraq, the War on Global Terror, and other peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns throughout the globe.
If you are not eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars but you have a parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, sibling, or spouse who would be eligible, then you may apply for membership in the VFW Auxiliary.
Bring a copy of your DD-214 showing a qualifying campaign medal or hostile-fire pay, or the orders showing your deployment.
Already a VFW member elsewhere? Bring your member number and we will transfer you into Post 5788.
Post meetings are the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Auxiliary meetings are the first Thursday at 6:00 pm.
